This morning when I picked up the little boy that I babysit his mom said, "I am so happy to see you. I have not been able to handle him since I picked him up from you yesterday. He is just out of control."
Really? Super.
I can say I will return her sentiments when she picks him up this afternoon.

oh....sorry that he's rambunctious today. hope it gets better.
ReplyDeleteUgh! Sorry.
ReplyDeleteYikes!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. I'm sorry!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Even when my girls are being horrible in the morning, I tell their daycare provider that they are doing great. I guess that's pretty terrible too. Thanks so much for the blog award!! I love YOUR blog - you crack me up!
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't that just great? "He's being an obnoxious little turd this morning, I'm SO glad you're here to take him off my hand so I can go have a life." Yeah, that's put me in a wonderful frame of mind, Kim. Well, hang in there, and feed the kid Twinkies and Red Bull fifteen minutes before they go home. You know what they say, revenge is the best way to live well. Or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe you babysit on top of it all. I hope you get enough rest, which I'm sure you don't, but man, oh man.
ReplyDeleteIt is actually a pretty easy gig. I pick him up from the kid's school when I dropped them off. His Mom is one of the aides for the pre-k. It is also only 4 days a week.
ReplyDeleteHe is just a little high-maintance, which is actually not far from the norm for our fam. So it's all good.
